It seems the Azure Blue metallic is continuing on the F650GS for MY10 but the Flame Red non metallic being replaced with Lava Orange metallic, and Iceberg Silver metallic being replaced with White Silver metallic.

It is also rumoured that the bumblebee F800GS colour is going...?

Sorry Tim, but isnt that for 2010 models ?

I would love to see to see white in the colour choice, just like the AC Schnitzer version of the beast :D

Id like to see 10 more options... How fecking hard is it to spray paint 6 (approx) plastic parts in 10 different colours!!

Incredibly easy, especially when your brother is a spray painter!

If they make blue ones though, I can copy the colours, then pass mine off as genuine. :)

I've seen a purple F800GS, was very unique, I think it was on eBay...

"One careful lady owner" :P

It looks like ILMV got his wish with Alpine White, a long time popular colour in BMW's palette both for cars and bikes.

The corrected story is that the 2010 F800GS will be available in
- Lava Orange metallic (replaces Bumblebee uni)
- Alpine White (replaces Magnesium matt metallic)

whilst the F650GS will be available in
- Lava Orange metallic (replaces Flame Red uni)
- White Aluminium Silver matt metallic (replaces Iceberg Silver metallic)
- Azure Blue metallic (no change)

There are still a few of the old colours available in the system but no change possible on build spec.

Close to putting an order in on the Lava Metallic 650...

Alpine White would be awesome.

Would be cool to get a set of white plastics, problem is you would have to change the colour of your bike on the V5 log book :(

My point being, interchangeable so I can change them at my leisure, getting a new V5 done everytime I want to put the bumble bee colours back on will be a pain.

Also, when someone does one of those HPI checks on your bike it tells them how many times the colours been changed, could cause problems.

Meh

I'd check your V5 'cos from memory I reckon mine just says colour - Black and mines a bumble bee, so if you were just changing the yellow then you might get away with it?

I'm sure I'll be corrected by the V5 forum police in due course :rob
