Google Calendar

Ive got a blackberry for work which is synced to my work laptop and I use outlook for all calendar, task and contact management.

Personally I have an iPhone and ipad which I would like sync with the blackberry. I cannot install iTunes on the work laptop as we are restricted to what we can install.

I have a gmail email address (the same one) set up on the blackberry and the iPhone. I thought that with this and starting a google calender would allow a sync between the phones and google calender (which would the allow my wife to see my calender which I have linked to hers)

Have I got this wrong - or do I need to install something else on the phones. As above I cannot install anything on the laptop.

I set that up on my iPhone and my misses Desire S running android, you can also log in to your gmail account and amend the calendar on the lappy as well
On the iPhone i have set the calendar up as the Gmail calendar

Am I right in thinking any changes to either calender will propagate to all the other calendars without me doing anything?

Yep, thats what we liked about it, i say liked because my misses has gone back to a paper diary that updates fek all
