I've bitten the bullet and bought a GoPro HD camera, and am trying to find somewhere on the 1200 to mount it, but have drawn a blank. In the kit is a self adhesive pad so you can mount the camera on your lid. As I'm worried about it falling off at speed, I wanted to see if any other tossers have mounted theirs on their lids without them falling off? They seem to have industrial grade 3M tape, but £300 is a lot to lose if it goes flying!

I mounted mine on the front of my Bandit. The sticky stuff holds very well. Try repositioning one ! On the GS, I use a handlebar mount on the engine bars:thumb

heaps of mounts available we also use cable ties as secondary fixing or black tack (like blu tack but industrial strength)... only time I loose them is when we crash the bikes and the camera flies off at a million miles per hour....:blast or into a million pieces....:blast

As long as you follow the instructions the helmet stickers are fine.

I mounted mine on my crash helmet, and it has been tested several times on salisbury plain. It hasn't moved at all. :thumb2

Is that using the self adhesive pad? Do you think it will stay on at up to 100mph?

how fast do these 1200's go? anyway it'll stay on at 150mph....:augie or get the grip adaptor from GoPro and a manfrotto universal clamp rig

then it's good enough for F1 cars....
