Any know what the difference is between em all?

I don't wanna cough up the money for one if I'm not gonna use half it's features

Looking at a 'HD Hero Naked' and the 'white edition'

Not much of the 'spec' makes sense to me

Cheers folks

there is a very good bullet cam on ebay. few on here have them and get very good ratings.

few suppliers have them and charge daft prices. one on ebay is 170 dollars.

just search pocket HD1080P 2" monitor wired control

they are most 150 euro

Check out my GoPro Hero2 see what you think, I haven't messed around with any settings yet running totally as standard.

Bit of a dull day so colours not as nice as they will be if the sun ever comes out but I think it still looks great & even better if viewed in 1080p.

£200 for hero2 and almost £100 more for silver 3 and more for the black.

I have now bought the wifi backpack so i can now start and stop from a remote on the bars and view content on tablet or phone - though i doubt i'll be doing that.

Enjoy

I have a Hero HD which was a present from my sisters. It's the Motorsport edition, which comes with various sticky pads for fitting to helmets, fairings panniers etc, and a suction mount which I have yet to use in anger.
It survived 8500 miles without a hitch, and is currently in my kit bag for use at trials. They seem pretty bomb proof and are easy to use. Guess work as far as where they are pointing is a bit of a pain, but I use it with an IPad and a card reader so I can check the video quite easily. iMovie software is also simple to use, making editing less painful.
As usual with all cameras, it's the user that makes the biggest difference. :thumb

The Hero3 is wifi'd and the Hero2 has an optional wifi kit. Download the app and you can not only fully control the camera but also see what it's recording.

Go Pro 3 is the best so far , all the extras from the first Go Pro fit like Screen for view plus piggy back battery more reliable and better battery life. set ot at 1080 and the quality is really good . I paid £199 for mine at P+h no problems so far:thumb2

I like the sound of the hero 3 white edition, built in wifi so allows me to use with app, big difference and price too between white to the silver and black but they have 11mp cam for photos which I won't be doing, seems to be the main difference?

As much as I'd consider it, I don't think I want to drift away from the go pro, but it's exactly what I need, easy mounted to whatever, even the snowboard too for that 1 time a year I'm make it to the slopes

Cheers men

Great stuff, so you enjoy it? Any examples of what you've gotten from it? Also, they don't seem to have the white in stock that the moment, how much did you pay?

The Silver Edition is $299 here (190 pounds) and shipping to the UK runs about $20.
If anyone wants one, I'll buy one and mail it over to you.

The Black goes fro $399, but I don't think it's really worth the extra $$ over the Silver.

Do you have a price on a white one? Cheers
