Kenny, I have a SP II+ as well, the same problem. Battery low.

Contacted Garmin UK, they ask me to send it back because is a "specialized" job, after 3 weeks got a brand new one, boxed, manuals, latest soft. etc, all free of charge.

According to the chap I spoke to, Garmin is suppose to be guaranteed for life....

Or, I suspect it was easy for them just to replace it...
Or, maybe they lost mine....
Or, whatever....

Thanks Yosi....may I have your contact point and address details etc at Garmin ?? I need help on this matter.

You will be the jammy barsteward as they'll probably tell me to get lost - LOL !!

Thanks for the reply

I had exactly the same experience as Dave when I sent back a GPS II+ a couple of years ago. Garmin UK are excellent.
