You will gather from what follows I'm very new to this GPS mularky. Have, or expect to have, the following:
Garmin 2610
Garmin cradle for above
Migsel GPS mount

What others 'bits' are needed to install the unit to the bike (leaving aside cabling etc)?

Any info / advice appreciated.

Using a metal RAM mount such as RAM-B-149Z with cradle RAM-HOL-GA9 or a Touratech metal cage cradle then Garmin power lead, 010-10495-02 . One downside on TT cradle with 2610 is the possible signal reduction, hence a Faraday cage effect, trawl and search this forum section on the subject. Solution is to fit an external high gain antenna.

If using Garmin cradle and power lead kit, 010-10495-00 then simplest is to get a RAM-B-149Z-G1 .. round base on mount attaches to four hole fix on cradle and the screws are smaller than those bolts in the Garmin kit, you'll understand when trying to remove power lead from back of device.

Garmin power lead 010-10495-02 is often like hens teeth, so solution if watching/comparing the £££ is to get the 010-10495-00 kit.

contd... using Migsel dash bracket

This should come with a RAM-B-236 and to keep any vibration down use a RAM-B-201-A short arm with a RAM-B-202 round base or RAM-B-347 square base as both offer 4 hole (AMPS) pattern for Garmin cradle as already mentioned the Garmin cradle and power lead kit is 010-10495-00
