Thingy being a technical term...
Been through the info here on the site and I was sure that I saw, somewhere, about an "L" shaped connector to plug the gps into the auxilliary power socket.
Having gone back to find it again, I cannot.
Has anyone got one, and is it fairly robust and waterproof?
The Lucas connector that I have got seems to stick out quite a lot from the 1100 power socket on the left hand side of the bike, about 8" above the footrest - and it does not seem to be all that weather proof.
Are the BMW connectors a bit slimmer/neater? And presumably they will be more robust and therefore waterproof?
Thanks in advance
Chuck
