GPS to headphones... cheap solution?

Hi, does anybody have a cheap and easy solution to connect my car tomtom to a set of in ear headphones? I want to put the sat nav in my pocket and listen to the instructions only. There is a line out on the tomtom but the volume is incredibly high so really I just need a box that will reduce the volume through to the 'phones.

You can buy ear-buds from Morrisons for around a £5 'er with a volume control slider built into the cable. T'other end should plug into TT

Gets a signal no problem... radio waves go through the thin fabric easier than into the metal box of my car!
