GPS V Problems again

Hello all,
I've just up graded to 2.50 and have also loaded world map and some south american maps from another source, but each time I try to use Find points of interest the unit switchs off. Anybody got any ideas?

The only time my unit does this is when the batteries are running low. Try with a fresh set in . It sounds obvious but even when the battery meter shows 1/2 strength batteries it does power off sometimes. I may be worth a try otherwise you rpoblem sounds like software non-compatability.....

There are new batterys in it, I think it maybe the software.

It could be the software: I also have 2.5 loaded and every time I delete a route the device shuts down.
