Phone was free (from work - £260 for an unlocked "developers" uncertified unit) otherwise free on contract if with Orange, or £160 pre-pay (then unlock the phone).
TomTom Mobile is £160 or so and comes with the GPS receiver and a 256MB mini-SD card with the software on. Word has it that you can download TomTom from eMule apparently, but you'll still need the GPS receiver (say £90) plus a 256Mb or bigger card (say £40) making TT a decent enough buy, and it all works together first time too.
Boxit case was £12 from www.mobilefun.com.
Already had the RAM arm and made an attachment for the Boxit case using a piece of old perspex numberplate
Autocom did the headset lead for me for free, but I also soldered one together (badly) also for free.
Speed camera downloads: free.
Total cost to me: £160 for TT plus £12 for the case = £172 for street level GPS with redirection bla bla and speed camera alerts.
If you are on Orange contract, you can probably sort an upgrade to the SPV C500 out.
