More information required:

Where in the world are you located?

What do you want to use your GPS unit for?

Do you really need a marine chart plotter?

The GPS Map 640 (where it's available) appears to be pre-loaded with City Navigator North America. Is that where you intend to use it?

Why do you want a picture of it mounted on a GS - does it really matter what it looks like? It's a functional piece of equipment, not a fashion accessory.

I want to use it in North America and "need" it for both "off road" and road since i will be going around all the USA.
Why a Pic? Simple :) I would like to see how much space is blocked by it, how it is attached and connected, how far from my left hand will it be, do i need bar raisers?

A picture is worth a million words when it comes to installation :blagblah

Sorry 'ol mate.. but isn't the MAP640 a marine gps unit  but if you want to put it on a 12GS then its Ok with me so long as it floats your boat :D

Onto the back of the Garmin cradle with a RAM-B-347 plus screws as shown, then add arm, RAM-B-201 standard or short RAM-B-201-A with RAM-B-231Z u-bolt (use 1" and black shim) add a rubber strip as well to protect and go onto lhs of clocks on screen support.

You're still being coy about your location. I'm asking because, as far as I can see, the GPSMAP 640 isn't available here in the UK.

It might, however, suit your needs for a trip around the US. It has XM weather which could be quite a boon. Lots of people use the 276C and similar GPS units which were Garmin's previous chart plotters, to navigate off-road.

Since you intend to use the device in the USA and it doesn't appear to be available over here, you may have more luck asking on a US based forum. I'd suggest asking the same question in the Making Tracks forum on Adventure Rider.
