Sharing here my trip planned for end August for 9 days riding in France. Hotels and routes all set for 2 pax.

My riding mate has tentatively signed up for this trip but he is going through a real tough time personally with divorce, family business issues and is not able to commit 100%. Same as last year. All a bit last minute. Was only able to confirm 6 weeks before we left.

For this reason I am putting this up here not as an open invite trip but I might throw it out there if I am really in a jam. Hotels have been booked for 2 so if things don't work out and someone wants to join its a ´´plug and play´´ situation. Just note most of the hotels incorporate a higher end restaurant as this is what we like. Not to everyone taste or wallet, just our preference.



Anyway here´s sharing what I have set up in case it inspires anyone else.

Day 1 - Rotterdam to Issioncourt. 447km. Hotel at the Relais de la Voie Sacree



Day 2 - Issoncourt to St Seinne - 300km. Hotel is the Relais de la Source



Day 3 - St Seinne to Hauterives 330km. Hotel is Hotel le Relais



Day 4 - Hauterives to Mur de Barrez. 314km. Hotel is Auberge de Barrez



Day 5 - Mur de Barrez to Fursac - 275km. Hotel is the Hotel Nougier



Day 6 - Fursac to Luzy - 258km. Hotel is the Hotel du Morvan



Day 7 - Lucy to Giffaumont - 278km. Hotel is Le Cheval Blanc



Day 8 - Giffaumont to Ligneuville - 303km. Hotel is Hotel du Moulin



Day 9 is basically motorway back to NL for me.

You'll be passing close to (if not through) Champlitte, between Chaumont and Dijon. Its

I only mention this because possibly the nicest white wine I've ever had was an Auxerrois from Coteaux de Champlitte.

NOTE: I know nothing about wine!
