Hi All,
Yesterday I removed the gear linkage (Shift assist pro version) to grease the 2 ball joints and the pedal swivel stub thingy..
I was quite surprised at the difference in feel it has made to the gear change feel. Gear shift pressure from ones boot seems a lot less.
I used this:

I originally removed the "Shift assist Pro" to have a look at doing this:
https://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/531317-Quick-shift-fix-lc-1200
But my assist pro unit did NOT have the gap he talks about and I could not separate the two halves of the unit so I ended up leaving it well alone!
Thats when I decided to treat all the joints to a good quality greasing.
