Hey,

I am replacing the rubber gasket around telelever ball joint in my 2008 r1200gs.

I’d like to grease it properly before putting it back.
What type of grease is right for this kind of joints?

I think something like this molybdenum disulfied grease will do the job grand. I think same as used for CV joints in cars

Yeah, I don’t have any grease handy so if I am buying one, I’d rather choose the right for the job 😀

Yes, a high moly grease is ideal for this sort of oscillating plain bearing, but note, that it should never be using in a rolling (ball or roller) bearing.
Interesting. Not heard that before (thankfully I've never actually used it for that). Noted!
Is there a particular reason? I'm now curious!
