Quick question for those who have had the S/A bearings out - does the inner race come out easily to allow the rollers to be greased?

I had a quick tug (ooh, Matron! :eek) when I took the swinging arm off, but they didn't seem to want to part.

If not, are they therefore "sealed for life" and can't be greased?

All advice gratefully received - to include "anything else whilst I have the bugger in bits"? :nenau

Thanks in anticipation of wisdom... :bow

Mine are creaking badly and I've tried to spray silicon etc in to stop the noise for the MOT but without success. I think they're sealed. They are certainly one piece and they certainly don't come apart like the paralever ones. I don't seem to remember them being to expensive though, just a bit of a bugger to remove. I bought a blind bearing puller to get the buggers out.

Sealed one piece bearings.
One came out no prob, other one was a complete fuktard.
I think it was about 30 quid for the pair.

Pull the pivots one at a time and work the grease into the rollers with your little finger.
