Got shut of the GSA last week only to read yesterday in MCN they're testing the NEW model next week,awsome the prices just dumped,now that must be why 1150 owners are so bitter

No doubt it'll be the usual 'leaked' hearsay from a 'factory insider' and won't bear much relevance to the actual updated model whenever it comes out.

Not a rumour,yes it is DOHC.

Good, but more power, more stress on final drive and gear box.. Probably less valves noise...

Isn't that the engine with the £2k service at 18k miles? Hopefully the de-tune will avoid this.

Or are BMW making the mistake Honda did putting the uneceasary VTEC on the VFR??
