Yup!

Go there before high heat! (not to mention all ther tourists

& Change your month to end of May & I'll meet you there!:D

Hi Trev

August is the hottest month of the year and u gonna suffer so I suggest u change yr trip for September or end of May - beginning of June. It is my country of birth so trust me.

Try the new Egnatia Motorway (it suppose to be very scenic) in Northen Greece from Ancona I think or around the pelloponnese from Bari to Patras.

Greek drivers are a bit mad so take extra care.

Text if u have any questions

Have a great one

Dimitri :)

I live in Naples - so i know a bit about driving.

Re. the heat - the more the better is what i say!

ta for the info.

I suggest you don't bother taking your GPS to Greece ( if you have one) map coverage is useless there:rolleyes:

I rode from Igoumenitsa up to the Zagoria region and the Pindos mountains in Northern Greece, near Albania. I'd love to go again with MUCH more time to spend. Very beautiful and plenty to see - roads not too busy and well off the beaten tourist routes. The locals in these parts were amazingly friendly and hospitable. But it was feckin hot - too hot for me and that was at the end of september....
