2008 GS Seat Suggestions

Hi Andy, Out of the Corbin and Wunderlich, which was the best for long range touring. Im setting off to Switzerland soon so would be interested to know. Thanks. Paul
My only experience is with the Wunderlich. I have the front seat on my '08 R1200GS.

I just did two days from Scottish border to the middle of France, ~700 miles. The previous seat was pretty awful, the Wunderlich is better, but still pretty hard. I found I had some sore pressure points after the first day of riding, and the second day was pretty uncomfortable.

On the way home, I added a gel seat pad on top, which sorted things out - no discomfort at all riding back.

I would say that the Wunderlich is much better than stock, but could be improved.

I am tall, and really found setting it on high front, low rear really helped. Moves your weight back to the wider part of the seat.
