Green and Orange wires from a 2610

The car ciggy lighter adaptor I got with my 2610 has a couple of strange contacts on the side. I opened it up to have a look and they are conected to green and orange wires that go up to the unit. what are they for

Looks like it might be the Dead Reckoning interface for the 2650?
