Hi All,
I've done a quick search to no avail.
Could someone confirm that it is possible to replace the grips on my bike without having to change the heating element.
Or am I completely wrong.
My grips are going really bald and tacky. I like the look and feel of the OEM grips and want to renew them. Cheers. :thumb2

The element is moulded into the rubber grip.

The grips are a piece of piss to change, simply held on with tiny Torx screws beneath the switchgear. Expensive to replace each grip but there is a simple alternative:

You could fit grip puppies to the grips (neoprene sleeves) which improve the feel of the grips yet allow heat through in winter.

Cheers, I'll give them a go.
Didn't realise the heating element was actually inside the rubber of the grip. Was hoping it was a heated sleeve with grip on top.
