Eventually got to have a look at this after collecting it back in June . Need to turn it round quickly and then clear the lift ready for this years winter project - an 850 Le Mans

Bike is in great order , needs a service and new tyres and a few little issues addressing

Don't think one of the previous owners was electrically inclined , found this mess under three rolls of electricians tape . All stripped out now ready to be done properly

Took a punt on a set of generic foot peg lowering brackets and they work a treat with a bit fettling

Wiring all de-pinned and repaired and a new "startus Interuptus" cable made up and fitted

Oil & oil filter changed plus new gearbox and final drive oil

New tyres ordered so get them fitted next week

did you remove the clear plastic bits from the frame , as seen in picture 1 ?
they were there to protect the frame from rubbing thro' the paint !

Tyres and MOT booked for Thursday

Much more comfortable riding position with the handlebar risers and foot peg lowering brackets fitted

I'll get it pulled out of the garage and get some decent photos taken of it later today

I’ve now lined up all of the screw heads on the throttle body clamps so they are horizontal , apologies for the serious lack of attention to detail

The silencer is being replaced with a Mistral short end can and the original will be getting machine polished and suitably wrapped for storage so you need not worry yourself about its well being

I do however have a question , the clutch switch threaded plastic portion is damaged on its tip and there is not enough good threads for the retaining nut to get hold . The Guzzi replacement is expensive and on a long lead time , is their an alternative part off another bike that fits or a workable fix ?

when you think , that they are 20 years old , they are still a quite string looking bike.
PLUS they aren't common.
".... a quite string looking bike .... " I'm a frayed knot !! (have no idea what you even meant to type , as for checking what you wrote , well ............... )
