So the last part of this years service is complete and the bikes in tip top order ( I hope ) :D

Weird bleeding experience ( literally ) those long screws on the reservoir lid that seem way oversized ! :augie

When you try to vacuum suck through the bleed nipple with a compressor I had to cover the three holes where the screws go with my fingers ! Weird set up or what ? :nenau

Anyone had the same ?

Oh and I looked at my front disc today, were the original discs solid ( ie not vented 284mm discs ) mine are drilled and look to be floating or semi floating at least .

Not sure if its original ??

Those three screws also anchor the brake reservoir to the base ( thin rubber ring in there ) , so be careful. Easily bled though. I think the originals were drilled...I think mostly the ghastly cast iron jobbies were solid :rob Long time ago...so the old memory fades.

My front disks are drilled. I assume they are original items.........

As long as your good at playing the trumpet its easy :blast

I had three fingers on the holes, my right hand operated the spanner, and my right foot operated my mates hydraulic air compressor bleed thingy.

I kept the reservoir topped up with my spanner hand while whistling I'm a one man band.

Seemed to work though, the brake works a treat. :D
