GS 1150 Adventure

I bought a brand new GS 1150 Adventure 12 months ago, it was a wonderful bike to ride but being only 5'10" I bought some Daytona Height lifting boots to help me with the high of the bike. After trying to gain that extra bit of high to control the bike, i have finally given in and sadly have to give the bike up.

After loving the GS 1150 Adventure so much I hope I will love the GS 1200 just as much.

Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear you had to downgrade from 1150 Adventure to 1200 I've never ridden a 1200, but sat on one, and even with the standard seat it felt much lower and lighter, so you should be fine

Enjoy. If you become a sponsor, not only will you have paid a pound a month to have the piss taken by all the 1150 owners you can sell your bits in the 'for sale' section here, and don't have to worry about dodgy Ebayers. Just dodgy UKGSERS..

thanks for your reply the 1200 felt good on the test drive so hopefully will be just as happy with the new bike. Thanks for the sales advice have already posted ad on ebay but will become a sponsor and use this site in future.

To Tall To Short

It works both ways dude, I now have a 12ADV and its the only bike i've ever owned that felt right. All the tasty stuff, 916,996 monster S4 never felt right. I tryed a MV once, just wanted it so bad til i rode it. nearly cried all the way home. Theres alot to be said for being 5'10 and the right build. lucky bastards.
