I have found this GS 1150 on e-bay, and I am considering a bid on it. It is standard, no ABS, no heated grips :( and no luggage. Can I rely on your infinite experience to pass judgement on it in your own frank and inimitable way? :)

e-bay

Ask him why he's claiming 92BHP.....

He's only got a standard Can on it looking at the photos, has he tweaked it somehow?

The rest of us only get 85 as Standard......;)

Seems a little expensive.

If it has neither ABS nor heated grips, I believe (someone correct me) that it'll have lower rated alternator. I personally live without the ABS quite happily, but would need heated grips, unless you intend to garage it, rather than ride it during the winter.

1150 prices seem quite depressed at the moment - have a look around the board, you may find better value...

I've seen that one on ebay three times now. Either really bad luck for the seller; or he wants to much; or there is something dodgy about it?
Make sure you go kick the tyres before bidding!

To be honest, it did seem a little expensive as, a. it's on e-bay, and b, no heated grips, and I do like to ride allyear around. I'll hold fire for now.

Dn't worry about the alternator mine was non ABS no grips etc. It now rnus fogs spots and grips no problem, The battery is small 14Ahr but can easily be replaced for a bigger one if the battery box is mod'ed
