GS 1200 Performance

Hit the nail on the head Red1200 - the throttle has a ridiculous 'throw' on it, grab two handfuls and the bike is transformed(ish). Beyond 5,500rpm that second handful will get her shifting(ish)

I have been toying with the idea of 'gearing' my throttle to reduce the between stops travel by say 40% - anyone else done this?

MY instructor mate has an 1150gs and i tried catching him on my blackbird.
No chance and his gs had a deflated rear tyre. Got a gs now!
The point is : Its the rider and a good rider can make any bike go fast and catch a novice on ther fastest road bike there are
