GS 12v Power outlet solution!

Power Bracket

Hi
Can you tell me what size hole you have drilled?
I'd like to fit a Powerlet socket and your photo looks like a standard 12V car type. I'm not sure if they are different but the Powerlet requires an 11/16" hole.
Thanks
Steve

Errrr how do I get the bolt loose?

Hi Paul, arrived and looks mint. Just a question to all: Anyone had difficulty removing said screw to mount this plate? I struggled today in the rain (x2) and eventually took bike to the local dealer to see if they could undo the allen bolt for me, lest I strip it and cause myself more bother. They too struggled and in the end suggested I bring the bike and book it in as they will need to remove clocks just to get the right levearge on the bolt. And of course that costs £98 per hour labour...I said no thanks. So, anyone found a way around to undo these lock tite then sprayed in bolts? Failing that I might have to try and "no more nails" it onto the place on the left side of ignition box/b;lack column thing or on the ramp of the fairing. Unless their are other words of wisdom?

Adventuredon, said fastener is not that difficult to remove. Purchase a small rachet with torx bits, works like a screwdriver only sideways. Cheap to buy and and very useful.

A main dealer who can't get that out......
