Fuel Strip calibration
"This version adds the long awaited functionality to calibrate a fuel strip. It is a pretty simple procedure - just follow the on-screen prompts. Please note that the fuel strip to be calibrated should be bone dry! if you are not using a brand new fuel strip, make sure it is dry. I've spoken to some dealer techs and they suggest taking it out of the tank and hanging it in front of a fan over night..."

Did the ESA calibration last night, it failed doing the rear shock at first attempt. Second time was no problem.

Cured the stiction (or sudden jump) when raising front preload.

Saw the fuel strip calibration feature, might come in useful when my current replacement strip goes out of warranty.

I tried the screen feature and it knew I didn't have it fitted.

I note it also gives a lot more detail about the build/options on my bike when interrogating the controller information.

Ah...great news as my fuel strip works OK apart from being two hundred miles out on accuracy - gonna give this a try when I get some time on my hands.

Screen calibration works, or at least the screen goes full up and stops and it says it calibrated...

Sadly my ESA isn't supported

Need to mod a piezo gas lighter to try and fix my fuel level strip, now that should be fun!

The strip has to be dry for calibration so the piezo trick should be fine.

Can the new 911 detect any system faults that might be why some fuel strips to fail regularly and others keep going.

I'll be Piezo shocking my strip wet, but don't worry, I'll keep the filler cap closed to contain the blast

I don't need It dry because I'm not going to calibrate it at this stage, I'm going to try and zap it with a piezo spark generator to try and fix it first, if that works it might not need anything more doing to it right now (my fuel gauge reads just under half tank when it's actually empty, and has done for a long time now).

The zapper energy goes into the strip, so risk is minimal. If really worried fill the tank with CO2 from a soda syphon cartridge.
