I have connected my GS 911 to the bike with a laptop and USB cable. I have reset the service interval OK and I can read real time values.

What I would like to do is use the ABS bleed functionality but the only service activity it will let me do on ABS is run the pump for a few seconds.

I used the bleed functionality last time with no probs so I wondered if maybe it is seeing me as a Wifi type user and just allowing diagnostics. I’ve checked my VIN list and the bike is there, so wtf am I doing wrong? :mad:

Jaysus!

For a tool that only gets used a couple of times a year, Hexcode’s MMI on windows isn’t exactly inuitive!

Memory jogged. Problem solved. Onwards :blast

Strange, just used mine for 1st time today. Really good! Used a TMPS tool to code my new wheels to the bike. So far so good.

I could tell you but then I’d have to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous tosserdom.

Oh all right then;

Having navigated through ABS system > Service Functions, i’m presented with a screen that has, from top to bottom;

Grey banner showing which controller is involved
Small text saying “select service function” (Bastarding small!):mad:
Grey banner showing “ABS Motor”
After a short delay, the control buttons for running the motor..

So on the face of it there is one function via one controller.

What is not obvious is that both of those grey banners are drop down lists......:blast
I mean to say, couldn’t they at least add a little down arrow as per drop down convention.

They way it is makes it seem like that’s all the choices you have!

The GS-911 is a powerful tool, but the interface is not sophisticated in function and comprehensive instructions are not provided despite the large expense of the tool.
