GS ADV 1200mile service

Hi,
I've booked my ADV in for a 12000mile service to a local BMW dealer. Can anyone please let me know the rough cost of this service so I'm sure i'm not being ripped off, any more than normal that is.

Best thing you could do is to get a quote from them before the bike goes in. And watch out for the "Oh it also needs the specified annual service in addition to the 12000 mile service sir" routine.

As for the cost, I've seen quotes ranging from £230 all the way up to nearly £400.

It might be worthwhile checking out the rates of another BMW dealer as a comparison.

Just had my Adventure in for its 6,000 service and annual service at Rydales, Cardiff. Got a quote for the job before it was booked in - £260. They did some smallish (for a mechanic) other jobs for me while it was in - final bill was £262.
