GS Adventure Advice Please

The big decision

Your dealer will know very well whether the bike is a good one and what the price should be; You cannot know, despite all the advice you get here or elsewhere; What you CAN find out is the reputation of 'your' dealer; I won't say all BMW dealers are good - but there are a lot of good ones. If you do find one, then put your trust in him - and make him aware of that; A bit old fashioned perhaps.

Ooh err! I bought mine from there and had no problem. Haven't been back to get it serviced though.

Have you had a bad experience with them?

I've bought 4 bikes from BRM/Bristol Motorrad over the years.
1 x 1150GS (used)
1 x 1200GS (new)
1 x 1200GSA (new)
1 x HP2S (new)

I've built up quite a good relationship with the fellas there, and I’ve had nothing but good service and deals from them (mind you, little Les was a strange one though:augie).

that’s just my experience though.

Not with buying a bike from them, bought 2. It all went sour after the 2nd one.

After sales and customer service, not the best IMHO.

BRM are pretty sound, Motorrad not so.

In my experience you either love them and go there all the time, or you decide enough is enough and go elsewhere.
