Does the GSA seat fit on the gs without much hassle?

Much easier to keep your eyes peeled for one of these babies...

recovered Touratech 'sport' seat.. this is an XXHigh one.. you can get others.. including a lower. This turned up on ebay. uses OE fixings at the front.. and hooks into the side slots of the rear frame.

I have a GSA seat and rack on my GS, it was already fitted by "NIN" who was the previous owner, drop him a PM and ask how easy it was

It does look really good when its done.

Must admit to really liking this - 1100 conversion. Not something I can justify though.

It's not so straightforward on the 1100. It involves changing the clocks so it can take the 1150 headlamp and other front end parts.

Converting your bike should be a lot simpler - once you find the appropriate parts.

And get to work on that tank.

haha i think i can borrow my mates welder to do it with. I have a few uni assignments to finish before i can really get the time to start on the tank but i can start having a looksee.

I have a front panel carrier going if you need it, (its battered but i think if you got it professionally plastic welded it would be fine... as opposed to my soldering iron job) and have the little panel that goes over the headlights, and a "headlight holder".. the plastic frame around the 2 lamps themselves, eerrr what else...

I like that... best of both worlds, looks of the adventure with the reliability of the 1100! Shame about the top-box though, really spoils it
