Hi

Have just bought a very tidy 04 Plate 1200GS - I am currently awaiting back the V5 from DVLA as the dealer sent it in for me unseen.

I will then try to contact the previous owner to get some info on the bike - all I know is that it has a complete service history from the BMW dealer in Manchester.

What I want to know is if there is a way I get get the full service and recall information on the bike by providing the VIN - not sure if BMW will do this for me?

If its got full service history with BMW they should have on file everything its had done to it That'll save you trying to contact the previous owner for info ...

pop along to your friendly BMWdealer with the Reg number and ask at the service desk.
any work carried out by any BMW dealer will be on file.
