Don't meen to hijack your thread Taff :augie But I reckon this will be a good date (DTBC) for the January meet :D at least we will get a good turn out and i do love a BBQ in the winter :D
So count me in, and feel free to use my 1200 for any 11**/1200 variations, as long as you don't give me a puncture to prove Graham's puncture repair kits, which I have no doubt will be on sale at the venue :D:augie

You can read all the instructions you like, but to me anyway nothing beats watching someone who knows what their doing - and that includes fixing a puncture. I was going to take photos of Slimbo fixing his puncture on the Red Kite rally, but by the time I'd dismounted, taken my gloves and helmet off and dug the camera out, he'd already fixed it. That sold it for me. :thumb

I bought one of Slimbos kits 2 years ago and haven't had the chance to use it yet. Nobody I know has had a puncture either. Perhaps one can be "arranged". :green gri

I'm sure I'll get a set of his brake pads too - once I feel confident enough to change them myself. :o

hi chaps , just to keep you informed its looking like the middle bit of january and all i have to do is confirm the date with the chap who runs the center..

keep em peeled i should have a date nailed later this week..

Hi John, Its the puncture kit that Slimbo has available. Have a look at it when he does his mainteance course. Does what it says on the tin:thumb

Hi thanks to paul and taff, had a look at website and its similiar (but obviously much better!) than the one I carry anyway!!!
By the glowing reports, really really wanted it to include AA breakdown man to fix the puncture:augie

now then update..
im just waiting for the full permissions to come in as we will be using a council facility.(its the insurance you see.)
the center has a large lounge area with kitchen for tea and coffee and a tidy workshop, it is used primarily to help the yoof of swansea in rehabilitation/confidence building and practical skills.. they have a great motorcycle training programme set up already..(thats why im there volunteering)..
and the date will have to slip to the beginning of february due to the center being used on sat morns in jan..(sorry but trying to keep any expenses to a minimum.)
so no more date slips we are aiming for the start of feb and i will 100% confirm this very soon..

may have to look in my diary as things may clash :beer: as there may be a drinking session that I will be missing, and we can't have that can we :D
Just looked and the First match for Wales :bow:bow is on the Sunday 8th and the next on Valentines Day :blast so as long as its on the 1st or 7th Feb its still okay, I hope :thumb
