gs or gsa shocks

Hello, I'm looking at rebuilding the suspension on my 1150gs, is there any improvement in fitting the 1150 adventure shocks? They will be rebuilt and prob fitted with hyperpro springs. Saves taking the bike off the road for a week, the only information I can find is they're made by white power, and aren't any better apart from taller? Before anybody says I haven't ohlins money...... thanks any way

i thought the bmw 1150 and 1150gsa were made by showa?
anyhow have a free bump for the question.


i have not tried the gsa ones because i am a shortie ,and the extra bike 20mm height makes it worse

It varied by year, some markets like SA were WP

Think I will just get the standard ones rebuilt by abe and have a set of hyper pro springs fitted, thinj its the best compromise, unless any gsa shocks turn up cheap..... just wanted to avoid taking the bike off the road for a week
