GS OR NOT TO GS !

Well GS it is ! Just made the plunge and ordered an 05 Red GS !

I had an 03 KRS which was a great bike but I got wacked from behind while touring in the Florida Everglades. The K is history and the GS is now a reality... YAHOO

Does anyone have the BMW factory installed alarm ? There are two bikes available and one has the alarm system.

Any comments would be appreciated...

Got the alarm and it works well but insurers don't recognise it usually.

It does drain the battery over a period but nothing that you can't easily recharge overnight every so often.

I've left my GSA for 3 weeks with the alarm on, and it started first time. My second BMW and both had alarms fitted, no problems with either.
