i'm sure this has been asked loads of times.
i'm looking at either the

KTM, BMW GS, and triump tiger

road both the gs and the tiger...........happy with both .
i've seeen tigers with 55000 plus on the clocks and the bikes look ok for it.
i've seen Bmw with loads more on them

has anyone in here tried the KTM adventure out...because own a 525 i found them easy enough to work on etc...i know the KTM adventure is a whole lot differnt bike...just wounding whos gone from a KTM to a BMW and why??? :thumb

cheers

why you say ditto :nenau

Ah ;)
Well it's a long story but to cut it short,
sold 1150 bought 950,
ktm dealer did 1st service messed up a couple of things including
stripping the wheels with pro clean then takng 4 weeks to fix,not replace
just re anodise.
Contacted ktm who reckoned that the dealer was doing me a favour :spitfire
in the end the anodising turned out better than before but the
damage had been done.
I'm now back with bmw, better local service ;)

The 950's not a bad bike but having a decent local dealer is a must.

Gates,

Could you name and shame the said KTM dealer???? It is my biggest concern with the brand, I have been using CW Motorcycles in Dorchester who are brilliant, they also own Sideways Motorcycles down the road , are they as good?.
