Following all the good advice I was given on an earlier post I have ordered a new GS12 which I pick up on the 29th April. I am now looking at getting it kitted up with a couple of bits to make it useful. One of those is to mount my Garman Quest sat nav and I have been looking on the Touratech site at the power and mounting options. The only power lead that they sell is "compatable with electrical system plug with voltage regulator". Obviously I didn't look at the GS closely enough during the test ride, but does it have a suitable plug as standard? I noticed when I rode the Tiger that it does but didn't look at the GS....

I suppose I can always just wire through the battery with a fuse but wondered what the considered approach to this is.

Thanks

The GS has a power outlet under the seat and also one as part of the wiring loom on the head stock which is used for items like the GPS.

Just make sure any power lead you get is compatible with the BMW connector. :thumb

Thanks...TT only do the Garmin power lead, so I guess it might be a case of having to alter the connector perhaps...shall see what comes through !
