Hi all

Will a 1200gs screen fit directly on to a 1200gsa without the need to change any of the spacer washers on the sides?

But I think you'll need to drill 2-holes for the GSA upper support, won't you? :nenau
This is the cut-down standard GS screen that I used in Morocco (for more airflow)...

Was thinking about removing the upper support bar frame, or maybe bonding on a couple of rubber buffers rather than drilling holes.

BMW don't think you need the additional support on the GS screen, don't quite know why others think you do. I actually swapped my GS screen for a GSA one, as I wanted somewhere to hang the GPS and the previous owner had put a really tall screen on. Interestingly the 'vibes' don't appear any different but I guess its stronger.

So if you don't need the bar to support your GPS, suggest you remove it as planned.

Thanks for all the replays guys. It fitted without too much issue. I removed the extra support brace and had to add a 3mm spacer to the inside of the side adjuster nuts to hold them slightly out of the adjustement channel.

Had a good run out today and much prefer the lower screen with winglets. More airflow around and through my helmet vents and quieter. :)
