GS sold.

After 5 years sterling service the time has come for a change.

But what to get???????

After a lot of looking, test riding and tire kicking, an R1200R classic is now sitting in the garage.

after 2 weeks of running it in i have to say that i like it a lot.

Its not a GS but it still make me smile every time......

So do i have to give leave this forum or can i stay ?????

( once a tosser always a tosser) ??????

Nice. I've always thought that if I ever needed to change my GS due to my right hip getting any worse, that's the bike I'd be interested in. Once on the GS I'm fine but getting yer leg over it can be a struggle sometimes!

How do you find the riding position, more cramped, about the same, comfier? I have test rode one but not over any great distance or time.

I've found getting my leg over to be a bit of a problem for quite a while now !!!

Its a lot easyer to get on and off and moving round the garage.

I have done 500 km in one day doing fast A roads and mountain passes and had no problems.

But After a couple of hours on the motorway is a bit tiring but it has only the sport screen.

Its a lot easyer to handle in the bends than a GS.
