As a previous owner of a std 660, which I thought was fantastic, I sold my 660 on here & used the cash towards the Nav 5, the new Nav5 is way superior, bigger screen, resolution, speed of refresh... Function...

I can confirm the 660 works on the new bike. I put mine in the demo bike when I had it for a few hours.
Mine didn't, & sat nav was less than 6months old..
It fits the cradle & charges, but other functions didn't work.
Sorry, can you clarify what "but other functions didn't work" means? As said previously, the lefthand wheely-thing will not work, but all the touch screen functions on the device itself should work. So, if you have a 550/660 already, then you can still use it on the bike, but without the remote control wheel.
I would second Wapping's view however: save the pennies and get a Nav V if you can
Ahh, sorry if I confuse, the 660 fits the cradle, charges from the cradle, but no control from the hand wheel, only standard touch functions work.
