While out in Wicklow yesterday I noticed that the nearside fork seal is weeping. I will order a new one on Monday and fit it during the week all being well, but I have one or two questions for anyone who has fitted them before.
Are there any wee tricks which will make the job easier/quicker?
Are there any hidden bolts etc that I may overlook which will make a one hour job a full day job?
If I am unable to get a new fork seal in the next day or two would I do much harm by going on a 1000 mile touring rally this weekend? I have toyed with the idea of leaving the job until after that event.
Thanks in advance.
