it was 5 - 6mm deep difficult to guage due to degragation as for the seal it will be best to just take the part to a hydraulics firm they will advise on size and rigidity. As you can see in the catalogue a bearing the correct sizes is not available on sell through.
Not really much in the cylinder for the money they charge for parts only thing not shown in photo's is a large compression spring
The inner bearing diameter has not been worn out to 6mm, as for the push rod I can't remember if there's a shoulder on it without looking, and can't look and see either as it's not here at my house
Interested to know what the pushrod end bears upon? There is a 16x5mm bearing listed, but not 16x6, as you know yourself. Could a 16x5 be adapted or could the pushrod be adapted?

If you don't want to buy genuine parts the options will be to removed the push rod and turn the end down or put the cylinder housing in the lathe and turn the bore out then you could fit the bearing with a bigger outside diameter.
Either way it's a hastle and not worth it for the sake of a £40 part and how often to they go wrong or faulty to justify the expense and time of machineing unless you have a lathe at home or work where it wouldn't cost anything
