after years of fannying about riding and fixing lambereta's my mate's asked me about the joys of owning a GS1200, problem is that hes a bit of a short arse so he's looking for one with a lowering kit on it, has anyone got one for sale or thinking of selling in the near future?

My GS should be up for sale at Ocean, Plymouth this w/e or Monday.

thanks for that, he's putting his scooters on fleebay this weekend, i don't mean to be personal SMB but how tall are you! he's 5' 7" would this be a problem ?

in fact my immaculate 2006 GS would be for sale but I`d only want too much for it........................

BahnStormer may also have my lowered 1200GS, I am 5' 6" as I just traded mine for the new model. It was 2.5 yrs old.

I have short legs which is why I always go for the lowered suspension if its available

I was 5ft7and1/8 many moons ago. Now an old shrinking tosser.

I have picked up a standard GS this afternoon, with a low seat and have no problems. Though if it had been my first GS, I would have preferred a lowered frame one.
