I know this is an old topic but as I only bought my GS1200 2 months ago I thought I would give some feedback. I have just bought from Touratech UK a Spoiler for windscreen and the recommended upgraded metal fitment. Total cost with dleivery £120. Not cheap but what a difference when fitted.
I am 6ft and the standard screen in any position really caused bufferting and wind noise in my helment. Now I can ride at 70-80 with my visor up.
The spoiler easlier attaches in seconds and removal take seconds.
Makes the screen shake at tickover but soon got used to that.
Doesn't stand out too much either. There is a more expensive version that can be locked on.
Got a bike rally in Ireland this year and this weill certainly make the ride easy.

I have to say that screen spoilers make a huge difference. I'm 6'4" and the noise and created by the screen was horrendous on my GSA. Buffeting wasn't as bad, but it's a bigger screen on the GSA obviously. I bought the Wunderlich spoiler from Nippy Normans and it's made a huge difference. Reduced mind noise by about 80% I reckon, and buffeting by about 25%. The Wunderlich one screws on so isn't as easily nickable as the standard TT one.

The wunderlich one isn't as wide as the TT one, but can be adjusted in height and angle. I would like to try a TT one to compare, but as they're not cheap I'm not willing to pay out just for comparison :blast

i had a tt one, and its not pretty, and can easily be stolen from the bike, uses a strap to pull it down, i drilled my screen and fixed it, worth the money,

for me no, i could have made something better from perspex for pence.

Sounds good, does get a bit noisy at times. How does it attach to the screen?cheers

it just clamps on needs adjusting to get it to fit but thats just 4 threads. Can get one with a lock on it to stop it beinig taken but so easy to fit and take off not sure its worth it

Guess its down to personal taste but I quite like the look of it. Agree it can be taken easliy if you dont get the lockable one but not been a problem so far

its only never a problem if your only riding about, but if your heading further afield and your having to leave your bike in the middle of a foreign country, anything thats easily removed, well, is easily removed

airhawks fetching good money secondhand,
tt parts that are easily removed, fetching good money secondhand

you get the idea
