Only done 1600 miles on the damn thing and expected more from it read up on how the adventure aspect would keep me involved and interested and so when it let me down badly in Nurburg I was shocked at its unreliability
I expected word engine noises tickin chains and dodgy final drive splined at the very least
All I get THANKS FOR NOTHON BMW is a mirror came loose and needed re tightening due to some numpty first owner not doing it properly

Come on bmw.wheres the adventure gone?
Stop being so reliable try to be more like Ducati for gods sake!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I tend to give a wide berth to trolls with verbal diarrhoea who can neither punctuate nor write with any grammatical sensibility.

A bit irascible aren’t we? I’ll try not to exceed your attention span again
As a grammar nazi do you class your use of sensibility as appropriate?
Suggest you try not to be so defensive about the bike they are quite good you know
Have a read of the post again crap spelling apart if you had understood it you would have appreciated the positives

An ironic reliabilty thread backslapping a 1600 mile journey on a 15k bike?

Bloody hell the bar would seem to be set low these days!

It’s actually quite funny that someone should be boasting that his expensive bike hasn’t broken down yet . Do you buy a modern GS expecting it to fail and then shout from the rooftops when it doesn’t in the first 2000 miles ?

No idea why one should. After all, all manufacturers have quality and design issues and all conduct recalls due to fuck up's.

Ironically it was more about all the doom and gloom that seems to permeate owners posts of problems than actual lack of breakdowns but despite a low bar being set seems it was still too high for some!

I was. Sorry. I was fed up, and not because of anything BMW related. Good to hear your 1250 is as it commonly is - reliable and well sorted.

Apology accepted! I have to say though that on this forum apologies are as rare as rocking horse shit so makes your response even more appreciated!
Good on you
Hope the issues get sorted quickly
