Well on the old yellow GS911 this was easy, on the Wi-Fi one I’m either being a clown or it’s not working.

So in rdc on gs911 I don’t see an option, in settings I see the option to change between psi or bar or kpa but when I save the display on the GS still shows bar.

Is there something I’m missing??

Thanks
Mark

Sounds daft, have you tried cycling the ignition?

And does the kombi support pressure in Psi?

Thanks, yes I did cycle it a few times still the same.

No in the Kombi it’s just got calibrate and learn new sensors I went through them all.

I used it a few weeks back and got the tyre temps in so I’m wondering if latest update has changed something as I can’t see this setting now. I’ve tried on laptop via usb also still no joy..

Sure you want to change to PSI? Compared to bar, I imagine the read-out will vary a lot as the temperature compensation comes in... Each to his own I guess!

I prefer psi, always set at 42f 36r and never seen it vary with temp in the past pretty much rock solid. Anyway would bar not vary also if it was the case?

Yes, bar will also vary, but only by points of the decimal, so 'visually' it seems less variable.

It's a preference thing! Ignore me

I think mine goes up by .1 bar or so on long rides (as expected ) cant remember the conversion but it's not huge

I might just leave it on bar..

I got in touch with hex and they stated it’s changed in cluster, however I don’t have a cluster setting. I’m in infrastructure so it should be ok.

Very odd

its very surprising you don't see it move, do you ride short distances very slowly ?

bar is for grown ups - 2.4 bar covers 35 and 36 PSI etc. so it varies much less

I just don’t hang about from the off, so steady good fun sort of speed.

Never see it move, I have the tyre temps on now and they do increase very slightly.

I think once your running tyre won’t change that much especially given the GS maxes at what 130mph, however above 120mph on private road is enough for me. I love the bike between 60-90 they are just so nice to ride on our Scottish twisty roads.

What sort of speeds are you guys doing in order to see these pressure changes you can’t be hanging around then.

42r 36f or grown ups 2.9r 2.5f

Same in car very little change even with some enthusiastic driving.

I’m glad you swapped front and rear from post#7, you had me worried that I should be running higher upfront…

I usually see a change of .1 of a bar within 7 miles depending on the ambient temp

riding is a bit of everything 30 /50/70

well scotland is a bit cold but even so... if the tyres are ambient 15C when you start out, if you get on with it should be 45C after 10 miles of riding it or 60C (with normal road tyres and normal pressures) if you pretend to be rossi

Cheers, odd I never see a change.

Not Rossi but don’t hang around and just never see it change.

from 0 C, 3 miles of gentle riding should see 12 C, continue on gently at 0 C ambient, 10 miles in should get 22 C on the tyres
