I'm almost certain you'd do better either contacting the US importer - http://www.hexcode.co.za/resellers/distribution#usa

or join http://www.advrider.com and ask on there - I'm fairly certain the guys in the US are organising their own 'group buy', although I can't find the actual thread, but I know there was discussion about this very recently.

Since the last software release the standard or "enthusiasts" version is restricted to working with up to 10 VIN's only.

If you want to use a GS911 on more than 10 different bikes you need to shell out the extra £140 or so for the "professional" version.

Just thought I’d add, older models of BMW such as the 1100 versions will eventually be catered for with a 3pin adaptor between the bike and the GS-911.
No time scales yet though.

If I can just clarify

There is no limit to the number of bikes the GS-911 can be used on for fault diagnosis. So, if you, a mate, or anyone else you might come across breaks down, you can use your GS-911 to help diagnose the fault

There is a 10 bike (VIN number) limit to the number of bike that can use the new maintenance features per GS-911, unless they buy the pro version, which is unlimited bikes, VIN numbers. Sounds fair enough to me.
