Now I expect a wave of "get a grip man", "what a complete tosser", "buy a lighter bike you poof" type responses. I'm not afraid to say that I am fussy to the point of probably being sectioned but having dropped my 600mile GSA on the recent Moroccan Dash dinging the crashbars, I have found a solution.

The rubber mounts are from the crashbars on a GSPD as per below. The BMW part number is 46632315138 and they cost a few quid each - thanks to Thunder

Simply unbolt the lower crash bars and slip the mount onto the corner section. Using a touch of ACF50 helps. For the upper crash bar, I split the mount and superglued it back together once applied.

So, hopefully for low speed drops my bars have an extra bit of padding.

Like I say, I'm fussy.

Those will have an adverse effect on the aerodynamics, won't they? :augie

There is enough rubber there to make it bounce back upright so saving you the bother of picking it up again:thumb

Doubt it's necessary but they don't look out of place :thumb2

HHhhhmmmm.

Crash protector, protectors.

I suggest you cover them in tape to protect them from damage if you crash again.

Then cover that tape in MORE tape, to protect that.
