One does wonder if the 2013/14 models are the end of the line of the boxer GS, for the real adventures the 800 seems to tick more boxes and now with the advent of the 1000 which is a natural progression of the 800 which will satisfy the need for speed bunch has the boxer wizzed it's last model ?

..'it being ages since I last posted on this site mainly because 'me 1150 GSA felt sorted and I've been enjoying a Triumph Thruxton 900 for er, other fun, I came on with the express intention of selling the (05) GSA so I could use some of my retirement lump sum to purchase the singing & dancing W/C '14 GSA. I have done the test-ride thing and found it easier to ride in some ways (I could touch the ground with most of my feet), the gear selection was v.good, surpassing a Triumph Explorer's I also had a look at, my wife said that she felt v.comfortable on the pillion and could see better. The speedometer was irritating as the numbers are small. Overall I liked it, but then, as in a previous post I went back to the 1150 and felt v.sentimental and er, loving towards it (!) So, what do I do? (that's a rhetorical question)
