22yrs of GS's and my 2011 twin cam (which I'd had for 10 faultless years) having been recently stolen, I thought I'd look around for an alternative. (There is a 1991 GS in the garage still so not abandoning the good old GS).
I have come across, and in negotiations on, a 2014 RT with very low mileage on the clock...under 7k
Part service history, MOT every year and expires in July... mileage to the testing station and home in the last 4yrs.
So, having gone through the threads in this section is there anything I should be checking for a beast that's been stabled far too long?
I understand this model features in the prop-shaft recall but doubt this has been carried out on this particular 'bike.
Oh yes... does this model have the fuel strip?
TIA
